Hi! Welcome to The Enchanted Canvas Paint Parties page! I am Julie Waterkotte, Quincy native and local artist and I am excited you are here. I am stoked to be able to share my gift of art with you all! I grew up in Quincy, only leaving to pursue college with a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design in Chicago. Years went by and that journey took me to Dallas Texas where I began to also use my skills in painting to start teaching painting classes there and then resume them here in Quincy, Illinois after my children and I moved back.
It has been a great move, as everyone who follows me and has came to my classes have been so welcome and a great joy to teach! I look forward to hopefully seeing YOU at one of my upcoming parties and letting me teach you not only art but show you a great night out!
What We Do
Here at The Enchanted Canvas we are a mother and daughter team, as I am a big believer in teaching my children a good work ethic and sense of community and serving others. You can find my daughter Keira and I out and about teaching various classes around the community. From children’s painting classes and parties, to adult classes. You will have a fun night out with friends and others who enjoy art, creating art, socializing and learning new techniques and going home with something they can be proud of!
Why You'll Love Us!
Why not! Ok really, we are so down to earth and we care about YOU! It’s just not a class where you come paint and leave. You will get not only instruction on how to paint, but personal help if needed and a smile to go along with it! Many people that come to the classes keep coming back because they are so fun and have even become good friends with us outside the classroom environment. So I guess it’s safe to say that you are a part of the Enchanted Canvas family when you come to one of our classes. Welcome!!!
HOW IT WORKS
Find/Book an Event
Events are my way of saying “ here is what we’re painting today!” So just find a project or date that inspires you. Or book a private party and choose your own design!
